How does it work?
- The creator publishes TikTok / Instagram content on their feed
- The brand selects the content on the Skeepers platform and requests an Ad Code from the creator
- The brand tracks the request status: Requested, Received, Error, Expired
- The brand receives the Ad Code from the creator, granting permission to reuse their content
- The brand uses the Ad Code to launch a paid advertising campaign
- The video appears as a sponsored post, reaching a broad audience, with a call-to-action visible after 3 seconds, redirecting to the website
Getting an Ad Code from the platform
To request influencer permission to use their UGC content in an ad launched on TikTok Ads Manager or Meta Ads Manager, first go to the Influencer Marketing platform.
Navigate to the Reports tab > Content tab > select filters TikTok / Instagram platform & the period of your choice if desired.
This will show all TikTok / Instagram content potentially usable for an amplification campaign. Follow these steps:
Click Request Ad Code on your favorite content:
The Request Ad Code button is also available when you click on a post for more details:
It is not guaranteed that the influencer will allow you to use their content.
However, when the influencer receives your request, we explain the benefits of accepting and providing the Ad Code.
The Ad Code status is "Requested":
You will receive an email if the influencer shares their Ad Code.
You can also check the Ad Code status directly in the influencer’s content:
If the influencer has shared their Ad Code, click Copy Ad Code and paste it into TikTok or Meta Ads Manager to reuse it in your amplification campaign:
By clicking on content from an influencer who has already shared their Ad Code, you can see:
- The number of days remaining to use the Ad Code. We recommend influencers allow 60 days.
- The Copy Ad Code button.
- A link to directly access messaging to contact the influencer if needed.
To track received, requested, and expired Ad Codes, you can filter your content by Ad Code status:
Use this Ad Code in your TikTok or Meta Ads Manager and launch an advertising campaign using the influencer’s content.
