Campaign Creation: How to Properly Complete Requirements & Restrictions

To ensure that content creators publish content that will be approved by the platform, it is important to properly complete the Instruction section of your campaign—particularly the Brief section (requirements & restrictions).

When publishing their content on the platform, influencers will receive a reminder containing the most important instructions to remember before submitting their content.

To complete these instructions:

  1. Create a new campaign from the Campaigns menu
  2. Complete steps 1, 2, and 3 of the campaign: Content, Settings, and Products & Logistics
  3. Go to step 4: Brief
  4. You will then access the Requirements and Restrictions section.

Examples of instructions to provide

Requirements Restrictions
Film in natural light Do not mention or show competing brands or products
Film with good lighting Swear or use language that is too casual
Show the packaging Do not make medical or health claims about the product
Clearly show the product label at least once Use unnatural filters
Make sure the voice audio is clear and audible Content filmed outdoors/indoors (according to your needs)
Show the product being used No mirror selfies
Include a before-and-after comparison Avoid language that is too promotional—stay authentic
Show the application process Film with poor lighting/quality/sound—in a cluttered space

You can choose a maximum of 5 requirements and 5 restrictions.

Information about using royalty-free music, trends to incorporate (such as unboxing), content length, whether or not to speak directly to the camera, etc., should be specified earlier in the brief. Learn more about the brief.

If you notice any bad practices, feel free to complete the Restrictions section with the inappropriate behaviors you identified as part of your next campaign.

These simple and basic instructions help educate content creators about your brand image so they can share the best content possible online and avoid mistakes.

Also, feel free to use the Inspirations feature to share content you like with creators!
