There are multiple possible reasons explaining why your Account has been refused:
At Skeepers, we believe stronger engagement and more authentic content comes from influencers with smaller communities, also known as nano or micro-influencers.
Many brands use our platform to create and manage their influencer campaigns, which is why we have registration criteria to ensure brands have a certain quality of profiles and audiences to work with.
Eligibility criteria
- The size of your community
- The regularity of your posts
- The engagement on your content
Please read the following article to check if your Account meets our criteria: What are the requirements to be registered as an influencer?
If your account meets all the criteria listed above, please check the following points:
- You do not live in one of the countries where we operate (France, Spain, Italy, Germany, the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Poland, and Portugal)
- Your Account seems to generate a non-authentic activity
- Your content is not in line with the brands we work with
- The content on your Account is not content exclusively created by you
Required Changes
Here are some changes to make before applying again. Start by asking yourself these questions:
Brands want to see your face and personality in your content. If your profile is only filled with product images, brands will not expect their product to stand out. Try filming videos where you showcase products and share your opinions. This also helps build trust with your audience.
If you share your lifestyle and personality, you are doing GREAT work! However, you may have been rejected due to a lack of experience in product reviews.
If you are new to influencing, we recommend starting by showcasing some of your favorite products and creating videos about them. When we see this experience on your profile, it helps you stand out!
When we look at your profile, we want to see your passion for content creation. Your content should show that you pay attention to details such as finding the best lighting and using your equipment effectively. Prioritize effort in editing rather than relying on automated templates.
Choose the best options for your content instead of the easiest ones.
Most brands prefer a clean look for their content. It is perfectly fine to have your own style and editing touches, but it is important to remember that your goal is for the brand to want to reuse your content.
They will not do so if there are distractions in your content. It is also important to ensure that your space is clean when it appears in your content.
Your profile as a whole is just as important as your individual content pieces. Make sure you pay attention to how your content looks overall.
This overall view of your profile is your first impression with brands and with us at Skeepers!
TIP
Take a look at Skeepers’ social media accounts for inspiration!
We often repost content from influencers we love and usually explain why in the caption. When you see that we highlight a Creator of the Month or give a shoutout, check out their profiles to find ideas and tips to improve your own content!
Consumer status
If you can't (for now) be listed as an influencer on our platform, don't worry!
Even if you do not yet meet all the eligibility criteria, you still have access to the platform as a consumer! This status allows you to apply and participate in Consumer Gifted Review Campaigns.
The concept is simple: in exchange for Text Reviews left on one or more Products, the Brand sends them to you for free.
