To use this feature, the following requirements are mandatory:
- You must have access to an active Shopify store.
- You must have an active IM account, with Shopify logistics enabled on at least one campaign.
Step 1: Connect your store
From the Influencer Marketing platform, go to Settings > Shopify Store API and click the connection button “Install Public App”.
A Shopify pop-up displays the permissions requested by the app. You must then click “Install”.
- One active store → activation is automatic.
- Multiple stores → a pop-up asks the brand to select the store to connect.
Once the app is installed, it connects and syncs the store information. The connection is confirmed directly in the Influencer Marketing settings.
Disconnection: There is currently no disconnect button in IM Pro. To uninstall the app, the brand must go through their Shopify back-office (Apps > Manage apps). Uninstalling from IM Pro alone does not guarantee disconnection on the Shopify side.
Step 2: Configure the application Skeepers (Shopify back-office)
Once installed, the app is accessible from the brand’s Shopify admin interface. Three configuration options are available:
The brand defines the tag that will be automatically applied to all Influencer Marketing orders created in Shopify. This tag makes it easy to identify and filter Influencer Marketing orders in Shopify.
You must select the shipping method to be used for Influencer Marketing orders. All shipping methods configured in the store are available, including those that have never been used in previous orders.
The app allows you to create two types of test orders directly:
- Test order (test mode): creates a $0 order, identified as a test order in Shopify. This option allows you to verify that the configuration is correct before launching a campaign.
- Real order: creates an actual Shopify order (not identified as a test order) for the product selected by the brand. This option is useful for performing a complete test of the ordering and shipping process through to the warehouse address.
In both cases, the brand selects the product directly from the app and can view the order immediately after it is created. The order appears in Shopify with the configured Skeepers tag.
Dashboard
The app includes a mini-dashboard integrated into Shopify, providing an overview of creator content linked to the brand’s Influencer Marketing account: reviews from gifted products and social media posts (Instagram, TikTok).
Data is updated once a day.
How does it work?
Influencer orders are automatically created and integrated into Shopify’s order flow. They can be identified using the “Skeepers” tag. All the information required to ship the packages is sent automatically:
Orders are processed directly by the team responsible for shipping Shopify packages. Once the order has been processed, the Influencer Marketing platform retrieves the tracking number:
- Inventory is available on the Influencer Marketing platform
- Stock management helps anticipate upcoming campaigns, shipments, and product availability
