Adding a phone number is required to secure your Skeepers account and receive important notifications.
If you’re having trouble, the sections below describe the most common causes and how to resolve them.
The phone number is already linked to another account
Each phone number can only be associated with one Skeepers account. If the number was previously used on another profile, it cannot be added again.
What to do:
- Check whether you may have created another Skeepers account in the past.
- Try logging in using that existing account.
- If you no longer have access to it, contact Skeepers Support to request that the number be unlinked.
The country prefix is not supported
Skeepers only supports phone numbers from specific countries. If your number uses a country code that is not supported, the system will reject it.
If you recently moved to a different country, you may not be able to continue using Skeepers as the platform is only available for these countries at the moment: United States, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Canada, Germany, Poland, Portugal.
What to do:
- Make sure the country prefix is correct.
- Check that the country selected in your profile matches the phone number country.
- Check that you live in a country where Skeepers is available.
The verification code is not being sent
Possible reasons:
- The phone number was entered incorrectly or in the wrong format.
- Your phone blocks SMS messages from short codes or automated systems.
- A temporary issue with your mobile network or carrier.
Recommended steps:
- Double-check the phone number for accuracy (no extra spaces or special characters).
- Ensure your phone can receive SMS messages.
- Wait a few minutes and request the verification code again.
- Restart your phone if needed.

The phone number is a PO Box number
PO Box or delivery box numbers are not personal phone numbers and cannot receive SMS verification codes.
Solution:
- Use a personal mobile that can receive SMS messages.
- Shared business numbers may also be rejected.
